In this final part, I tie up many concepts about endless chain schemes in the story of Peter Ponzi. Peter was a young and ambitious marketer of $10,000 pencils. Although he had the best of intentions, Peter went to jail. I close the ebook by offering some suggestions to help you spread the message about endless chain schemes. Until the industry finds a way to uniformly rid itself of pyramid schemes, the public’s perception of network marketing will always be hampered. The industry only works with passionate people committed to telling a product story and selling. Enjoy!

Defining the Gray, Part 4

Part 4 is all about Amway’s recent battles across the globe. They’ve been busy over the past two years fighting for their lives on multiple continents. Although Amway might be considered slow for failure to recognize the changing legal landscape before these actions were initiated, they’re not entirely stupid. In my opinion, Amway’s response across the globe is highly informative for the entire industry. Granted, it might be too little too late. But their actions at least signal a change in the regulatory environment that disfavors companies relying on opportunity driven demand.

Smart Outsourcing

In today’s economy, the competitive advantages held by larger organizations are becoming irrelevant.  Bigger is not necessarily better.  Instead, the spoils of war go to those that can collaborate across continents to create products and services that are truly remarkable.  “Smart Outsourcing” is an article I prepared for the foreign magazine “New to the Market.”  The article contains principles and specific concepts I learned while building my start-up business, Advanced Advocates.  In the article, I state the importance of leveraging technology and outsourcing to keep costs at a minimum to remain competitive in the global marketplace.  What do you think?  What’s stopping you from executing on your ideas?
