Excellent information. I have long agreed bloggers have the right to remain anonymous, if desired. This opinion even includes those I most disagree with, such as ibofb. I would prefer to discuss the issues, not the person. However, I have learned the only way to shut down those more interested in attacking the person is to “return fire.”
I resent Amway’s request to place real names on their blogs, although they do allow anonymous entries. As the judges state, remaining anonymous is a Constitutional right, which I haven’t seen before. I also agree it promotes more open discussion, except, as described above, when immature people are involved.
